Chess

Chess is one of the extra activities that the school offers which encourages the boys to use their mind. It creates a great social activity in the library at lunch times and boys can often find hidden talents with strategy and patience.

At IPC, students have the opportunity to compete three times a year in the Regional Queensland Schools Chess competition. These are all day events held at local schools were students get to play some quality Chess in a friendly inter-school setting.
