Gold Coast Suns AFL Team to Visit Ignatius Park College
Gold Coast Suns AFL Team to Visit Ignatius Park College
4th March 2019
On Monday, the team of the Gold Coast Suns will visit Ignatius Park College to speak with the students and also train on the school’s oval.
Ignatius Park College students who have nominated for the Open or Under 15 team have been invited to meet and train with the professional team.
“The Suns visiting allows our boys to see what can be achieved in professional sport. The students will be able to speak to team members to learn about the incredible hard work and effort involved in becoming a professional sports player,” John Alloway, Ignatius Park College’s Program Leader of Sport said.
“Speaking to the Suns players will inspire boys to strive higher and work harder to achieve their goals, and maybe they will one day be a professional sports player too,” he added.
The team will not be available to the general public, but media are welcome to this meet and greet session.
