Congratulations to our Year 12 Graduates of 2022
As a College community, we are extremely proud of their achievements and wish to acknowledge that their results are a testament to their individual and collective strength, resilience and determination to achieve their personal best.
At Ignatius Park College we acknowledge and celebrate learner diversity, embracing the unique gifts of each individual. As a College community no matter our students chosen pathway, excellence is a way of being, of learning, of knowing.
A characteristic that is developed through constantly engaging in it, whatever aspect of school life and learning. It is a standard that we set for ourselves, aligned to our College motto - 'Seek Truth'
It is with great pride that I share such excellence, reflected in the following achievement data;
- Harry Gallagher-Smith - 2022 Dux with an ATAR score 96.30
- Riley Innes - 2022 Proxime Accessit with an ATAR score 95.65
- Over 43% of the Year 12 cohort gained an ATAR score above 80
- 7 students gained a Diploma in Business through CQU
- 70+ students were awarded VET qualifications
- 30+ students from Year 12 have already gained apprenticeships in both
schools- based and post-school
Such achievement, especially within the 2022 school year, does not happen in isolation but rather is the result of a partnership that develops between our learners and their families alongside College staff, supporting and guiding these young men over the years.
As we wish the Class of 2022 every success in the future, may they always continue to promote excellence in all that they do, as our proud young men from Iggy Park.

Acknowledgement of Country
The Ignatius Park College Community would like to humbly acknowledge the Wulgurukaba peoples on whose land our College is located, as well as the Bindal peoples on whose land many of us live and travel across daily. We respectfully thank the elders of this traditional land both past and present for guiding us through the journey of time to where we are today.
