Instrumental Music

The instrumental program runs during the school term during school hours. Visiting tutors with extensive experience come to the school once a week to undertake private lessons with those students who nominate to join the program. The Music faculty has tuition available in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano and Keyboard, Ukulele, Voice, Music Theory, Songwriting and Production. Our professional tutors bring a wealth of knowledge and specialise in working with diverse abilities. Students learning an instrument are invited to join an ensemble at no extra cost. They will also be invited to participate in a performance music showcase evening at the end of each semester. These recitals provide opportunities for students to display and enhance their instrumental skills and enjoy celebrating our talented arts students with the wider community.

Lessons are $40/lesson (Half an hour session, once a week).
Invoice will be sent to parents for the term once agreement is received.
Timetable will be agreed with Student, Tutor and Parent.
IF THE STUDENT IS UNABLE TO ATTEND A LESSON, students or parents must notify the tutor directly in advance or forfeit the lesson.
If a Tutor is unavailable, a make up lesson will be organised.

The Ignatius Park College Community would like to humbly acknowledge the Wulgurukaba peoples on whose land our College is located, as well as the Bindal peoples on whose land many of us live and travel across daily. We respectfully thank the elders of this traditional land both past and present for guiding us through the journey of time to where we are today.
