Instrumental Music
The Ignatius Park College Music program has something for everyone. Ensembles include the Stage Band, Guitar Ensemble and Choir. These ensembles rehearse with their group leaders at least once a week and are committed to a number of school and public performances each year. The school also boasts several student driven rock bands who regularly achieve well in the various Battle of the Bands. The instrumental program runs during the school term. Visiting tutors come to the school once a week to undertake private students with those students who nominate to join the program. More information on fees and timetables can be obtained through the Music Co-ordinator by contacting the school office.
The school also regularly participates in the annual Mulkadee Festival, run by the Catholic Education Office, sending music students to participate in the band and choir workshops. The Eisteddfod is another place you will see our students performing. We have recently introduced our Boys' choir, so we expect to see them more involved in public performance as their skills develop.

Acknowledgement of Country
The Ignatius Park College Community would like to humbly acknowledge the Wulgurukaba peoples on whose land our College is located, as well as the Bindal peoples on whose land many of us live and travel across daily. We respectfully thank the elders of this traditional land both past and present for guiding us through the journey of time to where we are today.
