College Theme
Blue and White, We Unite
“Blue and White, We Unite” is the Ignatius Park College theme for 2023. This theme has been developed by the 2023 Year 12 group, which focuses on uniting an already close-knit community. The well-known colours of our junior and senior uniforms adorn the logo, which emphasizes the rite of passage of our students through junior school into the senior realms, whilst requiring all students to respect one another. At Ignatius Park College, our students are encouraged to not only speak about brotherhood but to understand and live it. For many years, those who have gone before them have instilled strong interpersonal relationships, respect, and community connection in order for Ignatius Park College to stand proudly as a respected educational institution for young men in the North Queensland region. The theme “Blue and White, We Unite” pays respect to the old boys of the College who wore these colours so proudly and provides connotation that our current students can forge new and exciting connections for the betterment of the College. Whilst respecting the history and the traditions of Ignatius Park College through their spirituality, dedication, conduct, dress and academic application, students of 2023 are encouraged to embrace the ideology that when all students make individual choices to appreciate and respect one another, the entire community is exposed to positivity, excellence, pride, and rejuvenation.
1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

The Ignatius Park College Community would like to humbly acknowledge the Wulgurukaba peoples on whose land our College is located, as well as the Bindal peoples on whose land many of us live and travel across daily. We respectfully thank the elders of this traditional land both past and present for guiding us through the journey of time to where we are today.
