Edmund Rice Hall

The Edmund Rice Hall is a fully air-conditioned all-purpose facility that can be used for exhibitions, examinations and dances.  It seats up to 1200 people conference style or 700 banquet style.

Features include:

• Fully air-conditioned
• Seating at tables for up to 700 guests
• Theatre-style seating for approximately 1,500–1,700 guests
• Large stage area and bar area
• Kitchen facilities, including a cold room, dishwasher and service area. Please note that our kitchen is not licensed for food preparation. As such, all food must be prepared and provided by an external catering company.
• High-quality audiovisual facilities, including stereo sound and two large rear projection screens (4-metre wide) with projector
• 120 tables and 900 chairs included in Semi- Dry Hall hire
• Edmund Rice Hall is a non-smoking venue

Hire Options Pricing:

Dry Hire – Full Hall 

• Dry Hire provides access to the hall & stage area 
• Full kitchen facilities, including the cold room, bar and washing facilities.  Please note that our kitchen is not licensed for food preparation. As such, all food must be prepared and provided by an external catering company.

Hall dimensions: 

• 1023m² – Hall floor 

• 84m² – Stage area 

Pricing: 

• Security deposit: $500.00 (refunded after hall hand back inspection) 

• 1 day hire: $1,500.00 + GST 

• Bump In/Out (if required): $550.00 + GST per day 

Semi- dry hire - FULL HALL

• Semi- Dry Hire provides access to the hall & stage area
• Full kitchen facilities, including the cold room, bar and washing facilities.  Please note that our kitchen is not licensed for food preparation. As such, all food must be prepared and provided by an external catering company.
• 900 chairs, 120 x 2.4m trestle tables
• Excellent AV equipment, including stereo sound and two large screens for visual presentations (4-metre-wide rear projection screens and projector)

Hall dimensions:

• 1023m² – Hall floor
• 84m² – Stage area

Pricing:

• Security deposit: $500.00  (refunded after hall hand back and AV inspection)
• 1 day hire: $2,500.00 + GST
• Bump In/Out (if required): $550.00+GST per day

* AV technical support is at the hirer’s expense and must be arranged in advance through one of our preferred suppliers listed below.

All rates are:

• Are effective from January 2026 

• Are in (AUD) and exclude GST 

• Include pre-entry cleaning, electricity and use of the industrial rubbish bin 

• For all hires, our preferred suppliers are listed below 

• Bookings are subject to the School Event Calendar

Bookings requested 12 months or more in advance cannot be confirmed until the School Event Calendar for the relevant year has been finalised.
