Blessing of the Boats

Yesterday, we blessed our new rowing boat, with the Honourable Bob Katter MP in attendance at the Assembly. The new boat, an 'eight', was named after our College motto of Seek Truth. In our Catholic faith, a blessing of a boat is to ensure that all who are in the vessel are safe. This further acquisition has now provided us with a fleet of six boats.
We hope this boat is successful for the IPC Rowing team at the Head of the River on Sunday 22 August!
